This high-performance penetrating oil and rust penetrant is engineered to loosen seized parts, break down heavy corrosion, and restore movement to metal components. A fast-acting solution, Loosey Goosey works its way into tight spaces between surfaces to free rusted bolts, nuts, screws, and other stuck fasteners.
The advanced formula penetrates deep into threads and joints, dissolving oxidation while providing essential lubrication so parts can move freely again. This product also helps displace moisture and protect metal surfaces, which reduces the chance of future rust and corrosion development.
Unlike traditional penetrating oils that carry a strong, off-putting chemical odor, this spray features a fresh cherry scent. This makes it a practical choice for maintenance work in occupied spaces—such as schools, offices, and commercial buildings—where repairs need to happen without disrupting the environment.
Ideal for maintenance professionals, mechanics, and facility teams, this product delivers reliable performance when dealing with seized equipment or maintaining machinery.

Penetrating oil is used to loosen rusted bolts, nuts, and mechanical components. It works by penetrating tight spaces between metal parts, breaking down corrosion, and reducing friction so components can be removed more easily.
Yes, penetrating oils help displace moisture and coat metal surfaces, helping prevent further corrosion.
Penetrating oil seeps into microscopic gaps between metal surfaces. This helps dissolve rust buildup and lubricate the threads, allowing seized bolts and fasteners to move freely again.
For best results, allow penetrating oil to sit for 5–15 minutes so it can penetrate rust and corrosion. For heavily rusted parts, applying multiple times and allowing longer soak times may improve results.
Penetrating oil is commonly used on:
No, penetrating oil is designed to loosen rusted parts and lubricate metal connections, while rust converters chemically transform rust into a protective coating. They serve different purposes in maintenance and repair.
Yes. In addition to loosening rusted parts, penetrating oil can provide light lubrication and help protect metal components from moisture and corrosion.
Penetrating oil should be applied directly to rusted or seized areas such as:
Allow the product to penetrate before attempting to move the component.
Penetrating oil can help loosen severely rusted components by breaking down corrosion and lubricating metal surfaces. Multiple applications and additional soak time may be needed for heavily corroded parts.
No, WD-40 is a brand name for a water displacer and light lubricant, with “WD” standing for Water Displacement, and therefore not a true penetrating oil. Dedicated penetrating oils are thinner formulas specifically designed to wick into corroded threads and break rust bonds, and they generally outperform standard WD-40 for freeing seized fasteners.
